Terms of Service
StrIQ patient terms of service
By accessing StrIQ or using any of our diagnostic support services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before use.
Nature of service
StrIQ is a Diagnostic Support System (DSS). We provide an AI-powered software platform (YOLOv8 and CNN models) that assists clinical professionals in analysing urine test strips. StrIQ is a tool to support clinical professionals — not a replacement for them.
Medical disclaimer
StrIQ does not provide medical advice
All results and findings generated by this platform are for informational and clinical support purposes only. The platform does not provide medical diagnoses, treatment recommendations, or professional clinical opinions. Always seek the advice of a qualified healthcare provider for any medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of anything seen on this platform.
Human-in-the-loop requirement
AI results are preliminary
Any automated AI analysis is preliminary and not a final medical report. It must be treated as a draft pending professional review.
Mandatory verification
Every scan must be verified by a qualified Laboratory Technician or Pathologist before it is considered a valid clinical finding.
Report availability
Your finalized report is only accessible once the independent laboratory completes manual verification. Scans marked "Open" or "Claimed" are still under professional review and are not yet available for patient viewing.
Platform vs. provider relationship
StrIQ — technology provider
StrIQ Technologies Pvt. Ltd. provides the software infrastructure and AI algorithms only. We are not a clinical provider.
PathLab — clinical authority
The independent laboratory where your test was performed is solely responsible for clinical accuracy, sample collection quality, and the final medical report issued to you.
Independence
StrIQ is not responsible for any clinical malpractice, negligence, or errors made by laboratory staff.
Technical constraints & delays
Conflict resolution — the 0.3 delta rule
If our Lab-color engine and CNN engine disagree by a technical margin greater than 0.3, the system automatically flags the result for "Senior Review" or "Escalation." This is a safety feature and may cause temporary delays in your report availability.
Image quality
AI accuracy is highly dependent on strip photograph quality. StrIQ is not liable for incorrect results arising from poor lighting, blurry images, or expired test strips.
Patient responsibilities
Data accuracy
You are responsible for providing accurate clinical data — including biological sex and age — as these calibrate the AI's detection thresholds and directly affect result accuracy.
Account security
StrIQ uses One-Time Password (OTP) authentication. You are solely responsible for the security of your registered mobile device and email. All activity under your account is your responsibility.
Service availability & feature control
Availability of specific features — such as the Patient Portal and Historical Trend Tracking — is controlled by the individual laboratory you visited. A Lab Admin may enable or disable these features at their discretion. StrIQ does not guarantee the continuous availability of any feature disabled by your clinical provider.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StrIQ Technologies Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform — including any medical decisions made based on the support findings provided herein.
